Afternoon tea

The Grand Hôtel's Afternoon Tea is just as suitable for an informal business meeting as to celebrate a special occasion. Or why not take a well-earned break together with friends after a hectic day in town?

Our Afternoon Tea is based on the classic, British tradition, but adapted to the Swedish taste. Enjoy a selection of tasty sandwiches, delicious cakes, scones and macaroons. Served, according to the tradition, with lime curd, whipped cream and butter as well as a selection of marmalades. Enjoy a perfectly chilled glass of Pol Roger champagne or a cup of tea from a fine selection of blends, for example our own Finest Tea Blend of Grand Hôtel, developed exclusively for us together with Vernon Mauris.

Tea ceremony

Immerse yourself in the Japanese culture with the experienced Tea Master Hiroko Otsuka. Learn more about the green tea Matcha, used in the rituals of over 900 years. It is time for Tea Ceremony on Friday September 3 at 3 pm at the Cadier Bar. We also serve a refreshing citrus Sencha shot between September 1 to September 5.
