Welcome to the Veranda

Ever since Strindberg sat here in the 1880s, the Veranda has been a favourite gathering place for Stockholmers and visitors to our city alike. On February 4, the restaurant will close for renovation, opening again on September 1. Our renowned smörgåsbord, home-spiced aquavit and panoramic views will be just the same when we reopen – served up in a completely new setting. During the renovation, enjoy our breakfast buffet or themed menu weeks in the Bolinderska Palatset instead. The Smörgåsbord will be served from the 1 of June.

Weekly lunch menu

Lunch is served everyday at the Veranda restaurant and the menu changes on a weekly basis. This is a popular spot for business and social lunches, so make sure to book a table.

Smörgåsbord

Our smörgåsbord is ready to be enjoyed! A delightful feast of herring dishes, salmon, meatballs and lingonberry jam. How about a tipple of 1874 Grand Aquavit, spiced with caraway, anise and fennel to go with?

Throughout the year we celebrate the changing of the seasons and traditional festivities with themed menu weeks at the Veranda restaurant. Book a table in good time, our themed menus are very popular!
